Ok, you have hosting and you’ve installed wordpress on your site.
Kinda bleah, huh? Just out of the box, wordpress is not that sexy. But, we’re bringing sexy back. Time to get your template on.
Now, as far as wordpress templates are concerned, there are many free wordpress templates out there. But if you really want to get your money’s worth, you should probably pay for a template. There are good reasons for purchasing a template, and the most important reason has to be technical support. WordPress updates frequently, mostly for bugs and security issues, and if you’re not technically savvy and the free template you’ve been using suddenly breaks when you update your site, there’s no one to go to in terms of support. You will be stuck with a broken site that may not be able to fix.
Here are a few places to get wordpress templates.
Company | Cost | Link |
WordPress.org | FREE | www.wordpress.org |
MojoThemes | $20-$50 per theme | |
StudioPress | $67-87 per template $349.95 for the entire package |
